• Babies can differentiate one language from another as early as 7 months

    My daughter was certainly mindful, at a very young age, to switch between Spanish and English when needed. This only validates the importance of exposing children to foreign languages early on.

  • Interesting article about the plasticity of the adult brain and second language learners

    Even though research suggests that learning second (or third) languages is easier for young children, it is good to remember that research indicates that our adult brains can be "retrained" to learn a second language more efficiently.
